2012 is the centenary of the Titanic sinking. Fasten your seatbelts for a year of Titanic events. Despite a century of disasters since  1912, some on a larger scale, the shipwreck continues to resonate with people. Why? My guess is it's because the passengers came from all walks of life, and the ship was crammed with human interest stories ... each more poignant than the last.
